South Carolina women's basketball: Watch behind the scenes video of the Gamecocks at the 3X Nationals

At the beginning of May, four South Carolina players participated in the USA Basketball 3X Nationals in Arizona. Tuesday night, USA Basketball released a behind-the-scenes video that followed the South Carolina team.
Chloe Kitts, Tessa Johnson, Joyce Edwards, and Maddy McDaniel made up South Carolina’s team at the event. Gamecock assistant coach Khadijah Sessions was their coach, although coaches are not allowed to communicate with players during games.
The women’s tournament featured 16 teams, including Florida, Oklahoma State, South Dakota State, TCU, and Vanderbilt. 3X Nationals served as an evaluation for selection to various future USA Basketball 3×3 men’s and women’s national teams, including the 2025 FIBA 3×3 World Cup.
In pool play, South Carolina beat Phoenix 21-13 on the first day. On the second day, South Carolina won both games, 21-5 over South Dakota State and 16-11 over James Madison, to secure first place in its pool.
