South Carolina WR Dalevon Campbell earns NFL opportunity
Despite going undrafted, former South Carolina wide receiver Dalevon Campbell has earned an opportunity with an NFL team. Campbell has been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Chargers, Campbell told GamecockCentral on Sunday evening.
The news comes just over a week after Campbell took part in rookie minicamp with the Philadelphia Eagles.
In his lone season at South Carolina, Campbell found multiple ways to make an impact with the Gamecocks, excelling on special teams as a gunner. Appearing in all 13 games, with four starts, he caught 12 passes for 312 yards. His 26 yards per reception was a team best in 2024.
