The opponents have been known for months. The dates are now all set, and South Carolina’s schedule for next season is officially complete.

The Southeastern Conference announced schedules for all 16 teams, including South Carolina, during a two-hour special on SEC Network on Thursday. Next year will be different from other years as all teams will play a brand-new nine-game league schedule with three non-conference games mixed in.

With the nine-game SEC slate, South Carolina will have three permanent opponents for each of the next four seasons, running through 2029. Those teams on the schedule each year will be Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky. There will also be six rotating opponents every season.

As far as who those six other opponents are for 2026, the Gamecocks will travel to Alabama, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. They’ll be on the road at Florida as well. For home games, they’ll host Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. Georgia and Kentucky will also play at Williams-Brice Stadium next year.

As usual, South Carolina will travel to Clemson at season’s end on Nov. 28 for the Palmetto Bowl, which also serves as its one required game against a non-conference Power Four team. It will also face Kent State and Towson in non-conference play during the first two weeks of the season. Kent State was a late addition to the schedule, coming on Monday to replace the previously scheduled Miami (FL) game.
