Ten South Carolina football players land on East-West Shine Bowl 1000 list
Ten South Carolina football players made the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 on Monday, the annual all-star game’s list of 1,000 college players who will be eligible for next year’s NFL Draft and essentially are on the radar to make a roster.
As one would expect, South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers headlines the list.
Sellers, who also on Monday was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List, threw for 2,534 yards and 18 touchdowns while completing 65.6 percent of his passes and added 674 yards and seven touchdowns rushing in his first season as the Gamecocks’ starting signal-caller.

Running back Rahsul Faison, wide receiver Nyck Harbor, offensive tackle Cason Henry, center Boaz Stanley, and tight end Jordan Dingle are the other South Carolina players on offense to make the list.
Four Gamecocks on Clayton White’s defense — EDGEs Bryan Thomas Jr. and George Wilson and defensive backs Jalon Kilgore and DQ Smith — made it too.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is an annual postseason all-star game for college football players who have declared for the NFL Draft.

As the release from the organization points out, each year around 1,000 players combined make the jump to the next level via the draft, undrafted free agency, or rookie mini camp.
The list of 1,000 guys is designed to preview college players who are currently all-star game eligible for the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl and 2026 NFL Draft class.
Rising sophomore sensation Dylan Stewart is not on the list, for example, because he isn’t draft eligible yet.
“Putting together this list was extremely challenging for our team, as we scouted players from all four levels of football and consulted with NFL and college personnel to ensure the selection of the best 1000 players for the NFL level,” the release says.
This year’s game will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on January 27, 2026.
