TV channel information revealed for South Carolina-Clemson rivalry game

With seven losses on the year, South Carolina is now ineligible to make a bowl game for the second time in the last three seasons. All that remains is a two-game homestand, which starts on Saturday afternoon.
The Gamecocks (3-7, 1-7 SEC) will host Coastal Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium with kickoff at 4:15 p.m. on SEC Network.
The following week, South Carolina will close out the season with its annual rivalry game against Clemson in the Palmetto Bowl.
It’s been known since the start of the season that next Saturday’s game against the Tigers will be at noon. However, the TV information is now known that the Palmetto Bowl will be broadcast on SEC Network.
South Carolina has won two of the last three games against Clemson, both of which were on the road at Memorial Stadium. But it will have a chance to win this year’s game at Williams-Brice Stadium, something it hasn’t done since 2013. The home team in this rivalry hasn’t won since 2018.

It’s been a disappointing season for not just the Gamecocks but also Clemson. The Tigers (5-5, 4-4 ACC) started the year as the No. 4 team in the country and were viewed as the team to beat in the ACC to return to the College Football Playoff. However, those hopes quickly ended when they lost three of their first four games.
Since then, Clemson has won four of its last six games, including the last two against Florida State and Louisville, to put itself squarely in a position to make a 20th consecutive bowl game. All the Tigers need to do is win one of the next two games, which could happen as soon as this weekend when they host Furman on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in Death Valley.
Clemson leads the all-time series with a 73-44-4 record against the Gamecocks. However, South Carolina will come in as the defending state champions after a classic 17-14 win last year, thanks to a game-winning touchdown run by LaNorris Sellers with 1:08 left in the fourth quarter.
