4-star Vols LB target reveals time for commitment announcement
Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy 2024 four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman announced last week he would announce a commitment decision on Friday.
Now, the standout prospect from the mid-state has announced what time he will reveal his decision between Ohio State and Tennessee.
Spillman’s brother, Nate, is in Knoxville already, but that has not kept Ohio State from actively pursuing the four-star talent and making his recruitment intriguing.
“My relationship with the coaches at each school is what it comes down to,” Spillman told On3. “I’ve known the coaches since I was a freshman. Both Ohio State and Tennessee have loved me and wanted to get me as both a player and a young man. “I’ve been drawn to those two since the beginning and why I want to put my focus into them.”
Spillman is currently rated as the nation’s No.300 overall prospect and No.27 overall linebacker, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
