Tennessee Football five-star commitment George MacIntyre is one of 15 quarterbacks that made the roster for the Elite 11 Finals roster, with the annual camp for elite quarterbacks set for June 18-20 in Los Angeles

The full Elite 11 Finals roster includes MacIntyre alongside 5-star Julian Lewis, 5-star Tavien St. Clair, 4-star Mat Zollers, 4-star Husan Longstreet, 4-star Deuce Knight, 4-star KJ Lacey, 4-star Ty Hawkins, 4-star Ryan Montgomery, 4-star Kevin Sperry, 4-star Bryce Baker, 4-star Malik Washington, 4-star TJ Lateef, 3-star Alex Manske and 3-star Tramell Jones

MacIntyre committed to Tennessee on January 22. He’s ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 11 overall player in the 2025 class. He’s the No. 3 quarterback nationally and the No. 1 player in the state of Tennessee, out of Brentwood Academy in Nashville, Tenn.

MacIntyre is the headliner in Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class, which currently consists of 10 commitments. The group is ranked 14th nationally and No. 8 in the SEC with a class score of 90.47. 

Behind MacIntyre are three four-star commitments in defensive lineman Ethan Utley, tight end Jack Van Dorselaer and four-star wide receiver Radarious Jackson. Utley is ranked No. 181 overall in the On3 Industry Ranking, ahead of Van Dorselaer at No. 234 and Jackson at No. 235.

On3 Scouting Report — George MacIntyre

Measured in at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds during summer campus visits. George MacIntyre- Tall signal caller with strong projectable tools as a passer and playmaker. Measured in at around 6-foot-5.5, 185 pounds with a 9.25-inch hand prior to his junior season. Has a tall, wiry build that should continue to fill out over time. Touts a tight, compact throwing motion with little moving parts. The release is whippy quick. Flashes good arm strength, with the ability to flick passes out to the boundary and downfield. Mechanical foundation points to a baseline level of accuracy. A bouncy, light-footed mover within the pocket. Avoids pressure in the backfield, stepping up in the pocket. Capable of making high-level second-reaction plays. Has strong improvisational skills. Shows a long stride in the open field. Doubles as a high-level high school basketball player and received high major looks as an underclassman. Plays a tough schedule, but does not have the production or efficiency typical of an elite quarterback prospect. High school team struggled in his junior season. Will need to continue making strides as a player on Friday night and adding weight to his frame, but has the potential to be one of the top quarterbacks to come out of the 2025 cycle.
