No. 15 Tennessee (2-0) and No. 6 Georgia (2-0) kickoff on Saturday at 3:30 Eastern Time on ABC, with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe on the call. Neyland Stadium is sold out for a 22nd straight time.
College GameDay making its 15th appearance in Knoxville
Saturday is GameDay’s 12th trip to Tennessee. The show is on site for a Georgia game at Tennessee for the first time since GameDay’s first trip to Knoxville in 1995, when the Vols beat the Bulldogs 30-27.
It’s the third time GameDay has been to Tennessee during the Josh Heupel era, following the 2022 home games against Florida and Alabama. The Vols beat the Gators 38-33 and the Crimson Tide 52-49.
GameDay was also in Knoxville for Tennessee-Florida games in 1996, 2000, 2002, 2012 and 2016. The pregame show was also at Tennessee for games against Notre Dame in 1999, Miami in 2002 and Auburn in 2004.
