(Caitie McMekin/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK) Tennessee wide receiver Ramel Keyton (9) attempts to catch a long throw during a football game between Tennessee and UTSA at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023. Tennessee defeated UTSA 45-14.

Former Tennessee Volunteers Wide Receiver Ramel Keyton is set to return to the Volunteer State.

Keyton has been signed by the Tennessee Titans, according to a report from Adam Schefter.

The news comes on the heels of multiple reports suggesting former first-round pick Trenton Burks has fractured his collarbone in camp.

In 2023, Keyton caught 35 passes for 642 yards and six touchdowns, all career highs, averaging 18.3 yards per catch. In 55 career games at Tennessee, Keyton caught 86 passes for 1,456 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Keyton played in eight games with the Las Vegas Raiders last season as a rookie, catching just one pass for seven yards.

The former Vols was cut by the Raiders during the NFL Draft after the team added TCU wideout Jack Bech in the second round.

He joins a receiver room that is thin in proven talent behind Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett.
