Is Zyan Gibson ‘still locked in’ with Alabama?

Alabama commitment Zyan Gibson has been to Tennessee several times. This weekend was another time for the Vols to make a positive impression. Did they?
“Just having a relationship with the coaches and going out with the coaches and having fun,” Gibson said about what stood out. “When we went go cart racing that was fun and that stood out to me just building a relationship.”
He has built a great relationship with Josh Heupel and his entire staff. So where does Tennessee stand leaving the weekend?
“I don’t really know right now,” Gibson said. “I still have to talk to my family.”
So what keeps him coming back? The sales pitch of the staff is one that resonates.
“They want me here and they love me,” Gibson said. “They keep trying to flip me and want me really bad. I can fit in their defensive scheme.

“It’s really just they keep communicating with me. They call me every week. We be on the phone some times. I love the coaches energy. It’s never changed since day one.”
Alabama will get the final chance to impress Gibson
He will visit Alabama next weekend after visiting Tennessee and Ole Miss the last two weekends. The Tide will have the final shot but he isn’t sure when he will make a final decision.
“I’m still locked in with Bama,” Gibson said. “I don’t know right now.”
