How it Happened: Hunter Ensley, Nate Snead lead Tennessee to 5-3 win over Florida

It went anything but according to plan for Tennessee on Friday night, but the Vols found a way to hold on for the 5-3 win over Florida in the Southeastern Conference opener from Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Manny Marin gave the Vols a 1-0 lead in the second before the game was tied in the fourth thanks to a solo home run from Blake Cyr. Hunter Ensley drove in two during a three-run fifth to retake the lead at 4-1. The Gators (16-3, 0-1 SEC) grabbed two runs back in the sixth, but that was it as the Vols (18-0, 1-0 SEC) held on.
Tanner Franklin (1-0) earned the win on the mound by being the pitcher in the ballgame when Tennessee took the lead for good. Nate Snead (S, 2) earned the save for Tennessee as he tossed the final 3.2 innings of clean baseball. He was once again fantastic.
Liam Peterson (4-1) is charged with the loss after allowing four runs off six hits in four innings of work.
Up Next: The Vols and Gators return to action Saturday afternoon at (UPDATED TIME) 3:30 eastern time for the second game of the series. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
