Paul Fortenberry returns to Volquest in ’Ball with the Beast’ podcast

The Beast is back! After almost a decade, Paul Fortenberry is returning to Volquest in a game week podcast called ‘Ball with the Beast’ sponsored by Wyatt Insurance. An agreement was struck in mid August between Volquest and Front Pocket Wallet Productions to bring Fortenberry back into the Volquest family.
“Partnering with Volquest was a natural choice for me,” Fortenberry said. “I loved my time working with the “Best in the Business”. It’s a great opportunity for me to live out a passion (on a much smaller scale), while also sharing how we help businesses and families and hopefully grow our client base.”
Fortenberry, who now works for Wyatt Insurance will talk SEC football in this conference themed podcast every Thursday alongside his old teammates Brent Hubbs and Austin Price. He spread his roots coming out of college covering recruiting at Volquest before moving on to focus more on his growing family. The East Tennessee community is important to him just like it is Wyatt Insurance.
“Our team at Wyatt has deep roots in the Volunteer State,” Fortenberry said. “Ashley Wyatt, our founder and president, is from Clarksville, and lived in Memphis before relocating to Knoxville almost 30-years ago to start Wyatt Insurance Services. And with offices in East Tennessee and Middle Tennessee, we love being a part of multiple communities, serving in our communities and working with businesses across the state.”

The partnership was a natural one for both parties according to Hubbs.
“Paul was such a big part of our community and has remained a part of it after he left to focus more on his family,” Hubbs said. “He still has a strong love for Tennessee sports and is beloved on the General’s Quarters. Teaming up to talk ball and promote the great people at Wyatt Insurance was a win-win.”
Each week, the trio will discuss news from around the conference and breakdown key matchups.
“Paul loves to talk ball and while he doesn’t follow recruiting as much anymore, he felt like talking about the entire SEC would be a great way to dive back in and dabble with his former life,” Price said.
The ‘Ball with the Beast’ podcast will run on Thursday’s each game week during the 2023 season.
