Rocky Top Roundtable: Kentucky
Tennessee is once again on the road this week in Lexington, Kentucky to take on the Wildcats. The crew from Volquest breakdown the match up on the Bluegrass and they believe Tennessee running back DeSean Bishop should feature prominently.
“DeSean is running extremely well,” Brent Hubbs said. “He is Tennessee’s best back and he needs more than 14 carries a game. His vision and patience. The weather is going to get a little cooler and it’s going to be a little more football weather. I think he is feeling it right now and I think that’s a horse Tennessee is going to need to ride.”
Bishop has two consecutive 100 yard games and is averaging almost 10 yards per carry over the last couple of weeks.
“It’s hard to ignore the body of work,” Rob Lewis said. “His average is almost eight yards a carry now and half way through the season, four SEC games in, that’s not fluff anymore. That’s real numbers and he is getting it done.”
