Tennessee is back outside the SEC this coming weekend as they take on UAB. The Volquest staff details the challenges this matchup could present for a team heavily favored in the Rocky Top Roundtable.

“We have spent weeks talking about Josh Heupel telling his youth that they don’t have time to be young,” Brent Hubbs said. “We think about that in the context of getting ready to play and understanding schemes and everything you have that way. The reality is you don’t have time to wallow in self pity when things don’t go well or get to high when things go well.”

Tennessee’s defense will be looking to clean some things up this week as well.

“There were some poor tackling from some veterans at safety and some very poor angles,” Rob Lewis said. “Georgia just got guys in space and even if they didn’t gash Tennessee for 20 yards, very rarely did the first guy bring the ball carrier down.”
