4-star tight end and Tennessee Football target Seneca Driver updates recruitment

Boyle County, Kentucky tight end Seneca Driver is one of the most coveted players in the country at his position for the 2027 class. Volquest caught up with him to find out where he is in the process.
“I’m just kind of neutral about everything,” Driver said. “I think it’s pretty cool to get to know people. I think it’s awesome to meet coaches and I do like the process. Sometimes it’s a lot but I do like it.”
Driver is very high on Tennessee’s target list for tight end in the 2027 class. He hears from the Vol staff quite a bit and spoke with Alec Abeln last week.
“He is a great coach and obviously knows what he is doing,” Driver said. “Tennessee is someone I have a lot interest in. They are a great program. The way they use their tight ends and treat their players like family.”
Driver will be in Knoxville next month when Tennessee hosts Oklahoma on November 1st. He has never been to a game on Rocky Top and he is looking forward to it.

“I’m looking forward to it and I feel like it’s going to be pretty cool,” Driver said. “Just be able to see in person how they utilize their tight ends. That’s what I’m watching for and to see how their pass scheme and run scheme works.”
As for himself, Driver believes that he has a lot that he brings to the table, but also a lot to continue to work on.
“I think I block well and can get open in 1 on 1’s,” Driver said. “I can catch the ball pretty well. I have to continue to build more stamina. I’m pretty physical but just be more physical on the field.”
Driver, here’s a lot from not only just Tennessee, but also teams like Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama. It’s a who’s who of college football royalty that are after the small town kid from Central Kentucky. So what is he looking for?
“Just a family built school that treat their kids like family that can use me,” Driver said.
