Tennessee catcher Cannon Peebles to miss game one of the super regionals

Tennessee catcher Cannon Peebles will miss game one of the Vols Super Regional series at Arkansas next weekend.
Peebles was ejected in the bottom of the 8th Monday night in Tennessee’s 11-5 win over Wake Forest in the championship game of the Knoxville Regional.

Peebles struck out in the 8th and on his way back t the dugout, the Vols catcher turned and said something to the home plate umpire who ejected him.
Per NCAA rules, position players ejected have to serve a one game suspension.
Peebles as the the mainstay at catcher for the Vols this season.
Stone Lawless who has split time at catcher this season with Peebles. He came on for Peebles in the 9th Monday night and will start the first game of the super regionals in Fayetteville.
