The Tennessee baseball staff returned from Fayetteville, Arkansas Monday evening following a super regional loss to the Razorbacks. Less than 24 hours later, the program is hosting the first of three transfer portal visitors to begin what should be a wild offseason.

Former East Tennessee State right-handed pitcher Brady Frederick visited Tennessee Tuesday afternoon. Former Rutgers right-handed hurler Landon Mack is set to begin his visit on Tuesday night while former Seaton hall outfielder Aiden Robbins will visit the Vos later in the week.

Frederick, a Bearden High School alum, was named the Southern Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2025. The submarine pitcher compiled an impressive 9-2 record with a 2.55 ERA and 0.88 WHIP in 2025, making 25 appearances out of the bullpen with no starts. The righty tossed starter-like innings with 81.1 on the year, striking out 81 batters while walking 20. The righty allowed 25 runs (23 earned) on 51 hits and gave up a combined 24 extra-base hits on the campaign. Opponents tallied just a .180 batting average against him. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining and is not draft eligible.

Mack started 15 games for Rutgers this season (Saturday and Friday) where he compiled a 6-5 record and a 4.03 ERA. The righty pitched 80. 1 innings, struck out 70 and walked 19 batters. Opponents tallied a .266 average against him as he allowed 20 extra-base hits (10 home runs) and 36 earned runs. Mack, who received a collegiate national team camp invitation, received Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors following his rookie season. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining and is not draft eligible.

Robbins, an outfielder, hit for the sixth-highest average in college baseball this season with a .422 clip in 53 games played while hitting leadoff. The speedster stole 20 bases on 21 attempts as a sophomore, while clubbing six home runs with 38 runs batted in. Robbins also registered 19 doubles and five triples while playing right field. He struck out just 32 times and walked on 44 occasions, leading the Big East in batting average and on-base percentage (.537). He is not draft eligible and has two years of eligibility remaining.

The Vols  have already picked up the commitments of right-handed pitcher Clay Edmondson (UNC Asheville)Mason Estrada (MIT) and Bo Rhudy (Kennesaw State) from the transfer portal. The first two are draft risks.
