Tennessee Senior Deputy AD Ryan Alpert to lead Georgia Tech program

Tennessee Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Alpert is leaving the University after joining the department in August of 2021.Β
Alpert has accepted the role as Vice President and Athletics Director at Georgia Tech, the school announced on Tuesday.Β
Alpert in his time on Rocky Top has handle a myriad of tasks. Heβs managed capital projects like Neyland Stadium and renovations to Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Heβs also played a critical role in developing the Neyland Entertainment District as well has the apparel contract.Β
Alpert has also played a key role in revenue generation on the corporate side of things working directly with the Vol Network.Β

Before arriving on Rocky Top, Albert who is a South Carolina native was at Missouri. He also worked with Danny Whiteβs brother, Brian White as the Deputy AD at Florida Atlantic University.
Alpert also worked at Memphis earlier in his career. Alpert was on Memphis list in their recent search for an AD, but Alpert pulled his name out of consideration for that job.

On Tuesday, White publicly congratulated Alpert on his now position.Β
