Report: Chaz Lanier gets four-year deal worth $8.79 million with Pistons
Lanier was the No. 37 overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft, selected by the Pistons in the second round. The Grizzlies traded to draft Mashack at No. 59 overall, giving Rick Barnes 10 NBA Draft picks over his 10 seasons at Tennessee.
Last week Lanier signed his rookie contract with the Pistons, reportedly a four-year deal worth $8.79 million, according to Michael Scotto.
It was also reported that the first two years of the contract are fully guaranteed at $3.52 million, with a “third-year trigger date” and fourth-year team option.
