Tennessee Basketball has reportedly scheduled four-star small forward Bryson Howard for an official visit October 24-26 in Knoxville. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Howard is the No. 26 overall player and one of the fastest-rising prospects in the 2026 class.

Howard will also reportedly visit Texas A&M (August 29-30), North Carolina (September 5-7), Texas (September 12-14), Duke (September 19-21), Houston (September 26-28), Kentucky (October 4-6) and UConn (September 17-19).

Howard, out of Frisco, Texas, is the No. 10 small forward in the class and the No. 1 prospect in Texas, out of Heritage High School.

‘Where he shines the most might be on the defensive end’

“Howard is a connecting guard, able to fill in the holes on offense and play off others,” Rivals’ Jamie Shaw said of Howard’s performance at Peach Jam. “He got his team into sets, moved the ball, pulled gravity as he provided spacing, and he finished at the rim. The 6-foot-4 Howard plays a controlled and composed game.

“Where he shines the most might be on the defensive end. He has good length and athleticism and he really understands leverage allowing him to guard up and down a line up. There is a lot to like with Howard’s game.”

Howard’s visit at Tennessee lines up with the exhibition game against Duke on October 26 at Food City Center, announced recently as a 7 p.m. Eastern Time start.

“We have so much respect for Jon Scheyer and for the Duke basketball program,” Tennessee coach Rick Barnes said in a press release. “It is an exciting opportunity for our players and our fans to host the Blue Devils here in Knoxville for a high-level exhibition game.

“We are confident this matchup will benefit both teams and really help prepare us for the upcoming season.”
