Tennessee Basketball to host five-star, top-10 prospect on official visit

Tennessee Basketball will host five-star small forward and top-10 prospect Christian Collins on an official visit, according to a report from Dushawn London, adding another name to the long list of visitors scheduled to be in Knoxville this fall. 

Collins, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound prospect out of Playa Del Ray, Calif., is the No. 8 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking. He’s the No. 3 small forward in the class of 2026 and the No. 4 overall prospect in the state of California.

Tennessee offered Collins in July. Other offers for Collins include USC, Kentucky, UCLA, Arkansas, Baylor, Duke, Arizona, Houston, Louisville and Alabama, among many others.

Vols scheduled to host one official visitor this weekend

Tennessee is scheduled to host one official visitor this weekend in four-star point guard Miles Sadler. The Glendale, Ariz., native, is the No. 20 overall prospect in Rivals ranking, is the No. 3 point guard and is the No. 3 prospect in Arizona. 

Next week the Vols are scheduled to host Latrell Allmond, a four-star power forward from Richmond, Va. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Allmond is the No. 21 overall prospect in the Rivals rankings. He’s the No. 3 power forward in the class and the No. 2 player in Virginia.

Tennessee is also set to host four-star small forward Bo Ogden the weekend of September 19, then four-star small forward Manny Green, four-star small forward Ralph Scott and 2027 four-star shooting guard Chase Branham the weekend of October 9.

Multiple visitors expected for Tennessee Basketball exhibition game vs. Duke

The October 26 weekend is quickly turning into a marquee recruiting event for Tennessee, with the Vols hosting Duke in a sold-out exhibition game at Food City Center on October 27.

Currently scheduled to visit that weekend are five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr., four-star small forward Bryson Howard, four-star shooting guard Jasiah Jervis and four-star power forward Cody Peck

Rippey, out of Brooklyn, N.Y., is the No. 8 overall prospect in the Rivals rankings. He’s the No. 2 point guard in the country and the No. 1 overall player in the state of New Jersey, where he attends Blair Academy. 

Howard, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound prospect out of Frisco, Texas, is ranked No. 22 overall in the Rivals Industry Ranking, No. 9 among small forwards and No. 1 in the state of Texas.

James, from The Bronx, N.Y., is ranked No. 23 in the Rivals rankings. He’s the No. 5 shooting guard in the class and the No. 2 player in the state of New York.

Peck, out of Matthews, N.C., is ranked No. 92 in the Rivals Industry Rating and No. 13 among power forwards. He’s the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina.
