Tennessee Basketball set to host four-star power forward on official visit

Tennessee Basketball will host four-star power forward Cody Peck on an official visit this weekend. The 6-foot-9 forward from North Carolina is the No. 98 overall prospect in the 2026 Rivals Industry Ranking.
Peck is the No. 14 power forward in the class and the No. 1 overall prospect out of the state of North Carolina, where he attends Davidson Day School.
He previously visited Dayton, his only other official visit, and has other offers from Georgetown, Wake Forest and SMU, among others.
Vols have three commitments in 2026 class
Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class currently has three commitments and is ranked No. 32 nationally and No. 9 in the SEC with a class score of 89.84.
Ralph Scott was the first commitment in the class and is the highest-ranked player committed to the Vols. The four-star small forward is ranked No. 57 overall, No. 22 at his position and No. 7 in the state of Florida, where he attends IMG Academy.
Manny Green is another four-star small forward committed to Tennessee. He’s the No. 105 prospect in the class, No. 37 at small forward and No. 5 in the state of Georgia.
Three-star point guard Marquis Clark is the most recent commitment. The 6-foot-2 Chicago native is the No. 53 point guard in the class and the No. 7 prospect in the state of Illinois.

Tennessee last week hosted two of the biggest names on its recruiting board and a pair of New York natives in five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. and four-star shooting guard Jasiah Jervis.
Rippey, a Brooklyn native who attends Blair Academy in New Jersey, is the No. 13 overall prospect in the class. He’s the No. 2 point guard and the No. 1 player in New Jersey.
The Vols are battling Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina State, among others, in an intense recruitment of Rippey.
Tennessee signed five players in 2025 recruiting class
Jervis, a 6-foot-5 prospect from The Bronx, is ranked No. 39 nationally and is the No. 8 shooting guard in the class. He’s the No. 2 player in the state of New York, out of Archbishop Stepinac.
Tennessee’s competition for Jervis is Pittsburgh, NC State, Michigan State and Illinois.
Tennessee’s 2025 signing class was ranked No. 9 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC with a class score of 92.99. The Vols signed five-star small forward Nate Ament (No. 2 overall), four-star guard Amari Evans (No. 68), four-star center Dewayne Brown (No. 96), three-star point guard Troy Henderson (No. 261) and three-star guard Clarence Massamba (No. 262).
