Tennessee Football updated its first injury report Thursday night, the second of four updates before the SEC opener against Georgia on Saturday afternoon (3:30 Eastern Time, ABC) at Neyland Stadium:

Josh Heupel on Thursday was asked during his appearance on The Mike Keith Show about the availability of Tennessee’s defensive linemen.
“Yeah, we anticipate most of those guys will be ready to go,” Heupel said. ” … Nobody different than what you’ve already seen. Anticipate those guys being ready to go.”
Moi suffered an upper-body injury against Syracuse and was ruled out for the home opener against ETSU early last week.
Sanders, Tennessee’s starting right tackle and a former five-star prospect, has missed the first two games of the season after suffering an upper body injury late in practice on August 27.
Hobbs has been sidelined since suffering an injury late in fall camp. McCoy continues to be out while coming back from the torn ACL he suffered while training in January. He made his return to the practice field late in fall camp.
Gibson, Tennessee’s starting corner opposite of McCoy, was injured in the win over Syracuse to open the season in Atlanta on August 30. Heupel said last week that Gibson would be out “an extended period” of time.
“How long,” Heupel added, “I don’t have the exact time table but he’ll be out for an extended time.”

Heupel has said on multiple occasions that he anticipates or has anticipated that Sanders would return over the last 10 days.
“Dave, anticipated him being ready,” Heupel said Saturday after the win over ETSU. “Ultimately, medical decided for him, for us, it probably wasn’t the best move to play him today.”
Tennessee (2-0) beat Syracuse 45-26 in Week 1 and beat ETSU 72-17 on Saturday, setting a modern-era program record for points scored in a game. Georgia (2-0) beat Marshall 45-7 at Sanford Stadium in Athens on August 30 and beat Austin Peay 28-6 at home on Saturday.
A Closer Look: SEC Availability Reports
The SEC introduced availability reports last year for football, basketball and baseball. For SEC football games, schools are required to submit availability reports three days before games and issue daily updates up until 90 minutes before game time.
Players will be listed as available, probable, questionable, doubtful or out for their next game. On game day the updates will include available, game-time decision or out.
“This availability reporting policy is intended to reduce pressure from outside entities seeking participation information,” SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey while announcing the arrival of injury reports, “and represents a commitment of our 16 institutions to provide enhanced transparency to support efforts to protect our student-athletes and the integrity of competition.”
