Final run through the 'T': Which Tennessee players went through Senior Day ceremonies

Prior to Tennessee’s final home game against Vanderbilt on Saturday, 35 seniors were honored with their final run through the ‘T.’ As a part of Senior Day ceremonies, senior players, scholarship and walk-ons got a final individual run through the human corridor formed by the Pride of the Southland marching band.
Here’s the list of who participated:

- Will Albright, LB — walk-on, could return for COVID year of eligibility

There are 21 of the 42 Tennessee seniors who have eligibility remaining who have a decision to make about their future in orange. It’s a part of the roster management in today’s college football which also includes the transfer portal, signing high school players, and guys turning pro.

“It used to be it was concrete — guys leaving, guys would be coming in,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said. “And it’s not that way now. And so there’s fluidity. And you know, your roster, your guys, who’s leaving for the NFL, getting the right guys to be back when it’s the right decision for them. You’ve got to go recruit great players, because you’ve got to build your roster with an influx of talent. And then, you know, as the transfer portal opens, where you feel like you need to patch your roster, you’ve got to go find some of those guys, too.
“At the end of the day, those guys got to make a decision, and they’ve got to be where their feet are going to be at for the next year, so they’ve got to be comfortable with that decision.”
