The bye week has come and gone and now No. 19 Tennessee turns its attention to Texas A&M for Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time kickoff inside a sold-out Neyland Stadium. The annual ‘Checker Neyland’ game will be televised by CBS as the SEC Game of the Week.

The Vols (4-1, 1-1 SEC) beat South Carolina 41-20 on September 30 in Knoxville before the open date. They’ll be on the road the next two weeks, playing at No. 11 Alabama and No. 24 Kentucky. Texas A&M (4-2, 2-1) lost 26-20 to Alabama last week at Kyle Field in College Station.

Tennessee opened as a 3.5-point favorite on Sunday and the line has moved only slightly toward A&M, with the Vols as 3.0-point favorites as of Thursday afternoon.

Tennessee, which has not been an underdog yet this season, is 3-2 against the spread through five games, covering against South Carolina (-11.5), UTSA (-23.5) and Virginia (-27.5) and failing to cover against Austin Peay (-48.5) and at Florida (-5.5).

A&M is 4-2 against the spread, covering against New Mexico (-38.5), UL Monroe (-37), Auburn (-9.5) and Arkansas (-6). The Aggies failed to cover against Alabama (+2.5) at Miami (-2.5).
