Trail Tidbits: Recruiting rolls on during Vols' open week

The Tennessee Vols are on an open week this week before returning to Neyland Stadium next weekend against Arkansas. The Vols staff will hit the road over the next two day as they continue to check in on 2026 and 2027 prospects. Volquest talks Tennessee recruiting in this latest installment of Trail Tidbits.
Vols remain one of the teams in the recruitment of Dre Quinn
The Vols continue to be one of the teams involved in the recruitment of Dre Quinn. Texas maintains as the primary competitor at this point, as they finished as the runner-up to Clemson over the summer for Quinn’s initial commitment.
Tennessee will need to work to get Quinn back to campus for an official visit at some point if they are to win out in this recruitment.
“I just wanted to come over and give Tennessee a chance,” Quinn said after visiting for the Georgia game. “I already been over here last year and the atmosphere was crazy and a great game. Going against Georgia, I knew this was going to be a crazy game down to the wire and experience. I just wanted to come over and talk to Tennessee.”
