The recruiting trail has been good to Tennessee over the last month, and since the last installment of Trail Tidbits, the Vols, have now flipped two elite prospects in Tristen Keys and Hezekiah Harris. Volquest discussed the latest happenings on the recruiting trail in this edition of Trail Tidbits.

Elite WR Tristen Keys flips to Tennessee

Tennessee had been surging behind the scenes for weeks for elite pass-catcher Tristen Keys, and the Vol finally landed the five-star prospect when he announced his intentions to flip from LSU on Thursday of last week.

“I’d say the culture, the fans, the town with everybody just coming out to the game and showing mad love,” Keys stated on what made him pick Rocky Top. “The support system they have because win, lose or draw, the Tennessee fans are still going to be out there cheering Go Vols at the end of the day.”

Top-150 EDGE Hezekiah Harris leaves home state for Tennessee

Levorn Harbin refused to go away in the recruitment of elite 2026 EDGE Hezekiah Harris despite his long-standing commitment to Auburn. Harbin’s persistence paid off as Harris flipped his commitment from Auburn to Tennessee on Labor Day.

“I really just feel like Chop did a really good job at recruiting me and Coach Heup, loves me and he loves me and my family,” Harris said before announcing on instagram. “And just the overall atmosphere I really love Tennessee and I feel like this is home
Harbin was key in Tennessee securing the last official visit of the process for Harris, and this allowed the Vols to grab the momentum going into the summer.

“I love that like he’s really passionate about wanting to coach me,” Harris said. “He is every day, we talk every day with my family every day and that really is a big part of why I really wanted to come to Tennessee.”
