Volquest 2-Minute Drill: Vanderbilt pregame

NASHVILLE — Tennessee is in the mid-state for a clash with Vanderbilt on Saturday. It’s a chance to punch their ticket to the college football playoff and for the Commodores it’s an opportunity to play spoiler in the biggest way.
Tennessee (9-2, 5-2 SEC) is coming off a 56-0 win over UTEP last week on Senior Day at Neyland Stadium. Vanderbilt (6-5, 3-4) has lost three of its last four games, but earlier this season beat Alabama at home and won on the road at Auburn and Kentucky.
Tennessee’s pregame injury report has six players listed as out for Saturday afternoon’s game at Vanderbilt, including safety Christian Charles and defensive lineman Jordan Ross who were added to the list this week. Both players were downgraded from questionable to out on Friday.
Offensive guard Jackson Lampley was removed from the report after being listed as questionable on Wednesday and Thursday.
