Who's in, Who's out: Final Injury report for No.19 Tennessee against Texas A&M

Tennessee and Texas A&M are set to square off shortly after 3:30 pm ET. The Vols are dealing with some injuries coming out of the be week, and Volquest takes you through the final injury report here.
WR Dont’e Thornton (Available)
Tennessee wide receiver Don’te Thornton was out with an undisclosed injury against South Carolina. Throughout the week, including his time on SEC Network this morning, Josh Heupel has reiterated Thorton should be available for the Vols. He has been a full participant during warmups, and he will suit up for Tennessee today. Redshirt Freshman Chaz Nimrod will get the start, along with Ramel Keyton and Squirrel White.
DB Doneiko Slaugther (Available)
Slaughter has dealt with a nagging injury, but just like Thornton, Slaughter will be available for Tennessee’s secondary rotation today.
“Yeah. Guys that have been nicked up, we’ve all had good work. We typically wait until Friday or our pre-game warmups to make the final determination from our medical staff and the players ourselves. So I anticipate those guys being ready to roll.”
OL Jeremiah Crawford (Available)
Crawford was dressed out for Tennessee against South Carolina, but he did not play as he has dealt with a nagging injury. After participating fully in warmups, Crawford will suit up for the Vols today.
OL Gerald Mincey (Available)
Mincey is dealing with an injury sustained earlier in the week, but he has been available during warmups and appears ready to give it a go today. He is slotted to get the start at right tackle, according to the pre-game starting lineups.
OL Andrej Karic (OUT)
The veteran offensive lineman was also out with an undisclosed injury. He had been a starter at left guard for the Vols during the first four games of the season. Karic has not participated in warmups, and he will be out today for the Vols.
DL Omarr Norman-Lott (OUT)
Norman-Lott has also dealt with some nagging injuries, and he will not be available in this for the Vols. Tennessee will hope to get him back Norman-Lott back for next week’s trip to Tuscaloosa.
LB Keenan Pili (OUT)
Keenan Pili remains out with an upper-body injury, and a timetable for his return is unclear at this time. He continues to be active around the team during this time. The Vols hope to get him back by November if he is able to return.

WR Bru McCoy (OUT)
McCoy is sidelined for the season after suffering a gruesome leg injury against South Carolina. He has had a successful surgery and is on the road to recovery.
“I want to thank every single individual who has taken the time to check in on me, share words of encouragement, or simply show their support. It means the world to me,” McCoy said in a statement last week. “I’ll be back, stronger, healthier, and more hungry than ever. Till then Go Damn Vols.”
Freshman DL Tyree Weathersby, RB Desean Bishop, DL Nathan Robinson (OUT)
Tennessee freshmen Tyree Weathersby and Desean Bishop both suffered long-term injuries around the same time in fall camp. Weathersby will be out for the season with a lower extremity injury, while Bishop’s injury could allow him to return at some point, but he could miss an extended period of time.
“Weathersby will be out for the year. Deshaun is not out for the year but will be out for an extended period of time. Probably a couple of months,” Josh Heupel said on August 16th.
New to the injury report is freshman defensive lineman Nathan Robinson. The newcomer is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time with an upper body injury.
DB Christian Charles (OUT)
Charles left last week’s contest against Austin Peay with an ankle injury. He is expected to miss an extended period of time for the Vols following the injury. He has continued to battle injuries throughout his career.
