Austin Jones has only been at USC for a little more than a year, but the running back feels like a longtime veteran for the Trojans. Jones was one of the 20 transfer portal additions for USC during Lincoln Riley's first offseason with the Trojans. He settled in enough at the running back spot to log 135 carries for 727 yards and scored six total touchdowns. And he put together back-to-back outstanding games against USC's biggest rivals, rushing for more than 100 yards against both UCLA and Notre Dame. Now, despite the excellent season for Jones and the USC offense in 2022, he said the Trojans aren't settling for the same thing in 2023.
