In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles: Your transfer, please: I would imagine that you have watched and/or charted USC’s football turnover roster parade since the arrival of Lincoln Riley from Oklahoma. Then you should know that Sunday, May 1, is the deadline for those first-timers looking to jump into the NCAA Transfer Portal to become immediately eligible for the 2022 season. You don’t have to immediately select a team immediately, but your name does have to appear on the transfer portal official list. If  you miss the May 1 deadline, you’ll have to apply for an NCAA waiver to be eligible for the 2022 season. Your transfer please - Part 2: Naturally, there is a big rush and plenty of rumors leading up to Sunday's portal deadline. On Friday, sources told ESPN that Pitt Panthers All-America receiver Jordan Addison, who won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's premier pass catcher in 2021, was strongly considering transferring to USC. Both Addison and Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams are from the Washington D.C. area and have a “connection.” The big question: Did or will Addison, who will be a junior and assuming he wants to come to USC and play with Caleb, get his portal transfer papers in on time?
