O/NSO: 2024 Cardinal and Gold New Year’s resolutions

The Obvious: So, USC fans, here we are again, officially counting down the hours until we can thankfully welcome in 2024 and, thank goodness, jettison 2023 into the rearview mirror of the cardinal and gold gridiron scrap heap. Goodbye and good luck, 2023 football season, you won’t be missed. The Not So Obvious: As per tradition, transitioning from 2023 to 2024 reminds the O/NSO that it’s also time to again fake ourselves out with that timed honored tradition of bringing forth new declarations of cardinal and gold New Year’s resolutions. Garry Paskwietz (1966-2019)

Garry Paskwietz was a pioneer in bringing team-specific sports coverage to the internet. He founded WeAreSC in 1998 and was an Emmy winner for his work with Fox Sports West. Always generous with his time, knowledge, and compassion, he touched the lives of countless USC and high school football fans.
