The Obvious: The disappointing USC Trojans (2-2, 1-2 Pac-12 South), hoping their middle-third of the season is vastly more successful than the first-third, look to get back in the Pac-12 South Division race when they visit Folsom Field on the campus of the University of Colorado for a Saturday noontime kickoff with the equally disappointing Pac-12 South Division Buffaloes (1-3, 0-1 Pac-12 South). The Not So Obvious: The Trojans' team will have to decide where this season is headed after going 2-2 in the first four games, including 1-2 in Pac-12 play, the most conference games played by a conference team. One could argue that this Saturday’s game may be at the seasonal crossroads because the consensus before the season was that the second half of the schedule was far more challenging than the first half. That still looks to be true, but nobody really expected the Men of Troy would lose conference games to both Stanford and Oregon State - in the Coliseum, no less.
