The Obvious: In recent weeks, it would be fair to say that the future of the USC Trojans offensive line is starting to fall in place with Tuesday’s announcement that Sacramento Grant Union High’s O-lineman Alani Noa (6-4, 320) made a commitment to the Trojans' Class of 2023 on a national YouTube broadcast. The Not So Obvious: With Noa’s announcement and previous 2023 commitments by Micah Banuelos (6-3, 285/Burien, WA/Kennedy Catholic), Amos Talalele (6-4, 330/Santa Clara, Calif./Santa Clara HS), and Tobias Raymond (6-6, 265/Ventura, Calif./Ventura HS), the Trojans may have previewed the candidates for their offensive line for the future. Banuelos may be the center of the future and flanked by potential guards Noa and Talalele. As for Tobias, who will need to gain weight, he is a project with the proverbial upside. No doubt, in Banuelos, Talalele, and Noa, that’s a lot of beef on the interior of the future Trojans’ offensive line, and it certainly eases some minds about the future physicality heading of the Men of Troy heading into the Big Ten in 2024.
