The Trojans have been miserable with their ball security in several recent games and got only 1 steal in their first round game against Miami. The team turnover difference was 18 to 3. The result was a 68-66 loss when a Drew Peterson shot with one second left from mid court bounced off the rim. If the turnover margin was even 3:1 this would have been an easy Trojan win, but Max Agbonkpolo and Chevez Goodwin each had 4 turnovers to “lead” the Trojans. USC trailed 31-20 at the half and had 12 TOs. They were much better in the second half in every area and took a 2 point lead at the 15:06 mark. The game was tied with three seconds left when former Cal point guard made the last two points in the game from the free throw line.
