We are 20 days away from the start of USC's 2023 spring ball and WeAreSC will be marking that time with a countdown of the 20 most interesting, intriguing and/or important players of spring ball for the Trojans. WeAreSC staffers individually rated their top 20, points were awarded and a complete ranking was arrived at. Thirty-five players received votes in total and there were some runaway frontrunners we'll get to as the countdown winds down. USC spring ball kicks off on Saturday, March 4 as the Trojans begin their first of 15 spring ball practices, culminating in the spring game on April 15. Kicking things off in WeAreSC's Spring Ball Countdown is offensive lineman Justin Dedich.

Garry Paskwietz (1966-2019)

Garry Paskwietz was a pioneer in bringing team-specific sports coverage to the internet. He founded WeAreSC in 1998 and was an Emmy winner for his work with Fox Sports West. Always generous with his time, knowledge, and compassion, he touched the lives of countless USC and high school football fans.
