The linebacker position was a mixed bag for the USC Trojans during the 2022 season. The group suffered injuries that cost the Trojans two fully healthy starters for an extended portion of the year. The linebackers were involved in some of the season's biggest defensive plays. But it was also a position that didn't always control the game and allowed opponents to occasionally generate big plays and put points on the board.
