Arizona linebacker Daniel Heimuli enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Arizona linebacker and former Washington Husky Daniel Heimuli entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned. He recorded 15 tackles for the Wildcats this season.

In his three years at Washington prior to moving over to Arizona, Heimuli recorded just 25 total tackles with his career-best season at UW coming in 2021, when he recorded 14 tackles in just five total games of action.

Just down the street from Thomas Edison’s old laboratory, Heimuli played high school football at Atherton in Menlo Park, California, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 189 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
