South Alabama wide receiver Caullin Lacy has committed to Louisville, he tells On3.

The wide receiver ranked No. 5 in the nation this year in receptions (91) and yards (1,316). The 5-foot-10, 190-pound receiver had seven touchdown catches, too. Lacy visited Texas A&M last weekend.

But the transfer was in Louisville this weekend, which made the difference. After four seasons in Mobile, Lacy has officially committed to Jeff Brohm and the Cardinals. Oregon had been pushing to get the grad transfer on campus this weekend. Auburn and Mississippi State had also offered the wide receiver.

Lacy had career-bests across the board with 91 receptions for a little over 1,300 yards this season, his first time breaking the 1,000-yard mark, and seven touchdowns. He ranked as the No. 4 wide receiver in the portal.

The Cardinals recently picked up Texas Tech transfer quarterback Tyler Shough. Adding Caullin Lacy gives the quarterback a dynamic target in the Louisville offense.
