Duke cornerback Jaylen Stinson has withdrawn from the NCAA Transfer Portal. He first entered the portal on Dec. 10.

Stinson has spent four seasons with the Blue Devils, making 48 total appearances and 30 starts. In the 2023 campaign, Stinson tallied a career-high 82 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, six passes defended and an interception.

In four years at Duke, Stinson has amassed 211 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 12 passes defended, two sacks and three interceptions. Stinson is more than an active defender. He is also a standout special teams threat for the Blue Devils.

Despite not returning kicks in 2023, Stinson boasts 1,553 return yards and two touchdowns. The 5-foot-8 safety was a preseason All-ACC selection by Athlon Sports (1st team), Pro Football Focus (1st team) and Phil Steele’s College Football Preview (3rd team) as a kickoff return specialist.

Jaylen Stinson played high school football at Opelika (AL), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,070 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
