Transfer Portal News Of The Day December 18 - Malachi Nelson Plans To Transfer, Juice Wells To Ole Miss

Georgia Tech offensive tackle Paul Tchio has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. This will be Tchio’s second time going through the process, beginning his college career with the Clemson Tigers.

Tchio did not get on the field too often in Atlanta, dealing with injuries throughout his time. During his two seasons with the Yellow Jackets, the offensive tackle played in just five games. One of them was a start during the 2022 season.

On the bright side, he was able to maintain some eligibility with a redshirt. Tchio will have at least two more years left to play in college football. If he can remain healthy, some team will be getting an offensive tackle thought to have a ton of potential.

Tchio played high school football at Alpharetta (GA) Milton, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 97 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
