Jabbar Muhammad visiting Texas today and Alabama Friday

Washington transfer cornerback Jabbar Muhammad is making a key visit today.

The 5-foot-11, 183-pounder in on his way to Austin right now to visit the Texas Longhorns. 

Should Muhammad continue on with the process following the visit to Texas, the All-Pac 12 Second-Team selection in 2023 is scheduled to visit Alabama Friday. 

Entering the Texas visit, the Oregon Ducks remain the team to beat. A visit to Oregon has not been scheduled as of Wednesday morning.

Muhammad hosted coaches from Oregon and Texas in Dallas Saturday. Longhorns defensive backs coach Terry Joseph made the visit Saturday. Time spent with Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian will be the key on the visit.

The former DeSoto (Texas) High standout starred for the Huskies in the run to the National Championship game. He totaled 46 tackles, 14 passes defended and three interceptions on the season. Muhammad spent three seasons at Oklahoma State prior to transferring to Washington. He totaled 72 tackles and 12 pass break ups for the Cowboys. 

Muhammad is the first cousin of Texas freshman cornerback Malik Muhammad.
