LSU transfer defensive end Quency Wiggins is expected to visit the Houston Cougars sometime in the near future, Matt Zenitz reported on Sunday evening. Wiggins has a relationship with Cougars defensive line coach Gerald Chatman, who previously worked with the LSU Tigers. Chatman coached with the Tigers in 2021, when he worked as a defensive analyst. In 2022, he also worked with Colorado and Tulane, working with their defensive line.

In 2023, Wiggins tallied two tackles and one tackle for loss in four games for the Tigers. In 2022, he played in five games, racking up five tackles.

Coming out of high school, Wiggins enjoyed a dominant career at Madison Prep in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was invited to play in the Adidas All-American Bowl. Wiggins guided the Chargers to their first ever football state championship in 2020 as they won the 3A crown and finished the season off with an undefeated record.

Coming out of high school, he chose LSU over offers from Florida, Alabama, Texas, Michigan, and many others.
