Miami of Ohio running back Rashad Amos has re-entered the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Amos started off his college career at South Carolina, rushing for 99 yards in his three game appearances as a true freshman before appearing in just 10 games and receiving two carries in his next two seasons with the Gamecocks.

He transferred to Miami ahead of the 2023 season and had a breakout year for the RedHawks, rushing for a career-high 1,075 yards and 13 touchdowns. Amos ranked third in the MAC in rushing yards and second in rushing touchdowns this past season, earning Third-Team All-Conference honors.

Amos played high school football at Tyrone (GA) Sandy Creek, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,027 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
