South Carolina, Louisville, Auburn all set to host Coastal Carolina WR Jared Brown
Jared Brown has a busy schedule ahead.
The Coastal Carolina transfer wide receiver has scheduled three visits over the next nine days, a source close to the wideout tells On3.
Brown is set to visit South Carolina on Saturday, spending time with the Gamecocks, who lost their top wide receiver Juice Wells to the portal. He will then spend time at Louisville on Dec. 13. The Cardinals landed a commitment from Texas Tech transfer quarterback Tyler Shough earlier this week.
The Sun Belt honorable mention will round out his visits by traveling to Auburn the weekend of Dec. 16. Hugh Freeze has been pushing to land a wide receiver in the transfer portal.
With two years of eligibility remaining, Jared Brown racked up 1,000 all-purpose yards this past season. He finished with 58 catches for 740 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He added 252 yards and a score on the ground, too. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he earned freshman All-American honors from the Football Writers Association of America, tallying 49 receptions for 789 yards and six touchdowns.
