South Florida receiver Yusuf Terry enters NCAA transfer portal

South Florida receiver Yusuf Terry has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos.

Terry has spent the past three seasons at USF after transferring from Baylor following a single season with the Bears. He has slowly become more active as a pass-catcher during his career.

In the 2023 season, Terry logged 10 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown.

That was Yusuf Terry’s first season with double-digit catches in college. In his four years he has totaled 29 catches for 370 yards and a touchdown.

Prior to enrolling at Baylor, then later transferring to USF, Yusuf Terry was a three-star prospect and the No. 847 overall recruit in the 2019 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as the No. 122 wide receiver in the class and the No. 15 overall player in the state of Pennsylvania, hailing from Philadelphia (PA) Imhotep Institute.

USF lands commitment from Colorado transfer

In the last two weeks USF has also added pieces via the NCAA transfer portal. The program recently landed a commitment from Colorado Buffaloes offensive lineman Jack Wilty He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Wilty left Colorado after playing in 11 games during the 2023 season. He also started in the season opening win over TCU for the Buffaloes. In 146 pass attempts that he blocked for, Wilty did not allow a single sack on the season.

Prior to coming to Colorado, Wilty initially went to Northern Illinois in 2020 where he did not play before transferring to Iowa Central Community College for two seasons. In 2022, he was named to the 2022 ICCAC Football All-Conference first-team.

Jack Wilty played high school football at Southeast Polk (IA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 67 overall JUCO recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
