Tulane wide receiver Terez Traynor has once again entered the transfer portal, per On3.

The Louisville, KY native began his career at Western Kentucky, then transferred out to Idaho, and moved again this winter to Tulane, and now, he’ll enter the portal another time.

Traynor never played a snap for the Green Wave but has been a decently productive player at his other couple of stops since coming out of high school as part of the 2018 class. At Western Kentucky, he managed just one season on the actual field, playing 10 games in the 2020 season while making four catches for 36 yards.

Following a move down to the FCS level to link up with Idaho, Traynor enjoyed a rocking three years with the Vandals. The Kibbie Dome was quite friendly to the Idaho passing game and Traynor was able to go for 50 catches and 737 yards in 2021, his first season there, earning Third-Team All-Big Sky in the process.

A broken foot marred Traynor’s second season in Moscow, limiting him to four total games played and just over 50 total yards in receptions. But 2023 offered somewhat of a bounce back for the veteran wideout: he caught 24 balls for 370 yards while playing in 12 games.

Three seasons with the Vandals was plenty enough for Terez Traynor, who leaped into the portal just after the conclusion of the 2023 season to try and find a third home, this time, a D1 school. So he ended up at Tulane, who put together exceptional seasons each of the past two years, with 11 wins in 2023 and 12 in 2022. Sure, some of the mainstays of those teams are gone, but you could do a lot worse than the Green Wave at the Group of Five level.

However, after a whole spring semester in New Orleans, Traynor has decided to try his luck in the portal once again and will evaluate options ahead of what surely has to be his final collegiate season.

Coming out of the Derby City, Traynor was a fairly low-key recruit from Louisville Doss High School but was rated three stars by the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also ranked as the No. 953 overall player, as well as the No. 12 athlete in the country and the No. 6 prospect from the state of Kentucky for his cycle.

A never-ending career keeps on going for this rising seventh-year senior.
