Washington DB Vincent Holmes enters NCAA transfer portal
Washington Huskies defensive back Vincent Holmes has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.
While Holmes was a highly-touted recruit, he didn’t amass any stats in 2023 for the Huskies. Evidently, he’s looking to move on to a new program next season, where he’ll be able to show his talent.
Vincent Holmes played high school football at San Jacinto (CA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 290 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
As a recruit, Holmes was smitten by many different West Coast schools, including the USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins. We’ll see if any come calling as he enters the transfer portal, moving on from the Huskies.
