Will Rogers will be on the West Coast this weekend.

The Mississippi State transfer quarterback will be visiting Washington this weekend, On3 has learned. The Huskies have long been thought to be the favorite to land the grad transfer.

Over four seasons in Starkville, Rogers threw for more than 12,000 yards and 94 touchdowns, while completing better than 69 percent of his passes.

While the Huskies are preparing for the College Football Playoff, they are looking for a quarterback for the 2024 season. A Heisman finalist this past week, Michael Penix Jr. still has a shot to lead Washington to a national title. But head coach Kalen DeBoer has been looking to secure his next quarterback as UW makes the jump to the Big Ten Conference next season.

Rogers would be a smart fit schematically for the Huskies. He prospered in the Air Raid with Mike Leach. Earlier on Monday, Washington quarterback Dylan Morris entered the portal, a sign of what could be to come in Seattle.

Track transfer portal activity

As of December 11th, 1,529 FBS players have entered the Transfer Portal.

While the NCAA Transfer Portal database is private, the On3 Network has streamlined the reporting process tracking player movement. If you find yourself asking, ‘How can I track transfer portal activity?’ our well-established network of reporters and contacts across college athletics keeps you up to speed in several ways, from articles written about players as they enter and exit the transfer portal or find their new destination, to our social media channels, to the On3 Transfer Portal.

The transfer portal wire provides a real-time feed of player activity, including basic player profile information, transfer portal ranking and original On3 Industry recruiting ranking, as well as NIL valuation (name, image and likeness).

The On3 Transfer Portal Rankings allow for you to filter the On3 Industry Rankings to find the best of the best in the portal, starting with Overall Top Players.

You can dive deeper into the rankings and filter by position whether it is QuarterbackRunning BackWide ReceiverTight EndOffensive TackleInterior Offensive LineEdgeDefensive LineLinebackerCornerbackSafetyAthleteKickerPunter, or Long Snapper you’re looking for.
