I think it is a great move getting the top HS coach in Philly on your staff. I don’t know if he can coach but if he can recruit players like he recruit coaches he should do ok.

He is very successful and sends plenty of players to top schools. My daughter in laws father has coached with him for years, he’s been approached by Colleges in the past but wanted to stay in PA

Shows they are proactive,unlike Ash and Hobbs.they also hired Fran Brown from Baylor,a great philly area recruiter,back To Temple. Hobbs and Ash couldnt even get Jafar Williams back ,who was a decent recruiter.counting the 11 months down until Ash is fired..

How many top recruits has Partridge landed since the last of his Paramus Catholic kids graduated? Either from NNJ or elsewhere in the country.

Nonsense. It's a new coach. A coach they had to hire since their coach left. They are filling out a staff, which they also have to do. It has ZERO to do with being proactive and has nothing to do with what's going on here.

Brooks is a beast. 5 star Lloyd will follow him easily among other Dematha stars next few years barring Mcnair like event.

I follow recruiting in socal, miami and DMV

I dont know how Locksley's staff will be as x's/o's BUT his recruiting staff is as good as it gets.

Brooks, Lox and Butch among others is WAY better than Durkin (who brought Top 20s classes).

But Lox's success will depend on him hiring guys who can COACH his talent over the next 4-5 years.

Never thought I’d see so many Temple threads on this board.

I hope this means that rock bottom has been reached and that an upswing will start soon for RU FB.

Narducci at philly.com (Inquirer, Daily News) is writing positive article after positive article on Temple football, not only the lead up to the bowl game, but the hiring of Diaz and his staff. It is a real love fest right now down here.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but from Partridge's bio:
"He was named National Recruiter of the Year by Scout in 2016 and received the same honor from 247Sports in 2017. Partridge was ranked a top-five recruiter again in 2019 by 247."

Had a random encounter today with someone who played football with Patridge at Lafayette and stays in touch with him. We talked at length where Rutgers was at with Schiano, then Flood and now. He said that Rutgers would be smart to hire Partidge, as he can sell ice to Eskimos. I related to him how RU has had a real difficult time keeping the top 10 NJ recruits in state, and he was confident Partidge would change that.
Wonder if he was under any consideration for RU's open DC job.
